You are just discovering that the purpose of banking is to spread debt as far and wide as possible? Yes, it's a threat, but it also cannot continue without investment, so there is a natural balance. Can things get out of balance? Yes, and they do every now and then. I agree, however, fiat money and fraction reserve banking are frauds, but they are frauds that the world has been accepting for a very long time. Do I favor that? No! Can I avoid participating in it? No!
