Al, > No grasshopper...the problem comes when partisans who don't like the data being presented assail it as garbage, but don't have a better method of estimating the data...I see you doing that all the time. I already have a better method. It's called presenting the facts. Unemployment is near 10%. This despite the CBO predicting that unemployment would be at 8% with stimulus, and 9% without it. Those are the facts, and they hold a lot more weight than estimates based on assumptions based on ideological models. Tenchusatsu

The Anchorage Daily News is reporting that Murkowski supporters have sent out emails inviting friends to a "kick-off event" tonight - when the incumbent lawmaker is scheduled to announce whether she will mount a write-in campaign for the November election. Bonnie Jack, who was a Murkowski elections observer for the count of absentee votes, sent out an email this morning. “Join us at the Kick-off of Senator Lisa's campaign -- with a theme of "write in her name in and fill in the oval." Denai'na Convention Center, third floor and hopefully out on the sunny deck, 5 pm. Bring your family including children, friends and business associates. We plan to make history!” Jack confirmed to me that she sent the email, and indicated that obviously the conclusion to be drawn from it is that Murkowski is running Murkowski was defeated by attorney Joe Miller in the state's August 24 GOP primary.
