The "perceived" unlimited risk of writing naked options is a big scare factor.
Also, option writing is plain boring. LOL

As I have also discovered, one only needs to watch the market for 5 minutes, twice a day to keep in touch with established option positions.
This leaves lots of time for recreational activities (or research into the next option position).

It does take a significant amount of capital to make a decent monthly paycheck, but I suspect that is little problem for most of the regulars on this board.

The biggest learning so far that I would like to share is not to get too greedy and chase the biggest premiums. Reduce your risk by writing options far enough out of the money that you do not think they will be assigned. The premium is lower, but it is virtually guaranteed income.

Anyway, don't want to harp on the matter.
