>>Surviving Wi-Fi Interference in Low Power ZigBee Networks<<

There was an 802.3 equivalent called 802.3w Binary Logarithmic Backoff Method
google.com

It claimed more fairness by correcting the Ethernet Capture effect, but with the effect of reducing TCP benchmarks.

All the Ethernet wise men came to 802.3 and decided that better benchmarks was more important than better fairness.

Like 802.3w, BuzzBuzz attacks the stations seen as unfair.

Good luck getting EN 301 803 approval in Europe.
