<<<You mean just cuz nobody has figured out how to repeal the laws of thermodynamics in the past doesn't mean we can't repeal them in the future? >>>

You know a lot more about thermodynamics than I do - but that statement does not smell right. Not that I am trying to make an engineering statement (I am not) but what I am suggesting is the possibilities of a changing paradigm (and perhaps thinkig out of the box) that reduces footprint of a windmill (not a real proposal - more of a straw man - just a thought), can be built cheaply in a back yard, generate economic returns, and replicated in billions of homes.

Something akin to PC's versus IBM mainframes 30 years ago and impact now.
