I tweeted to Dennis Kneale (CNBC) a link to my idea/story for Obama to bring jobs to the US... kirklindstrom.blogspot.com I also sent it to power lunch via email yesterday... I've been stumped with trying to understand why some of my stocks with a ton of cash were taking on debt... Then it hit me... itz the taxes stupid! I figured it out when Cisco said it would pay a dividend but would borrow money rather than repatriate cash from overseas. IF you listen to former HPQ CEO Carly Fiorina in the debate to replace a horrible CA senator who only wins because she is a Democrat.... they try to beat her up for shipping jobs overseas to make more money for HP shareholders... she should turn the question back on Boxer and say she only did what Boxer ENCOURAGED ALL US COMPANIES to do with uncompetitive tax policy. Anyway, the meltup many expect will probably come when Obama can say Bush was right to give a tax break the middle class (but wrong to give so much to the rich... which I thought was a mistake for dividend treatments at the time) AND we get a final change in the House
