Some reasons to expect a period of languish:

1. Stock was much higher earlier in year and so is candidate for tax-loss sale throughout November. Even Decemmber we may see even lower prices. This is what sets up the so-called "January effect" when after 31 days money goes back into the low-priced small caps.

2. Bigger fish have gone down so there are better cheap stock candidates.

3. Sell-off never has given stock a chance to base well. This is maybe the most uninspired reason, least probable imo but mo doesn't count for the stock price. No level between 4 and 8 that you can point to and say, "look, it goes down to there and no further".

If this company is for real and does show the potential indicated in the initial price run, you want it to move up gradually in any case. Price has to move, if not enough interest to move up, then it goes down.
