No nation's hands are clean in this area. Not the US, not Japan, not Europe, and China is no different.

It's just that China was more of a closed society and folks just didn't talk about atrocities committed by both the Nationalists and Communists.

But I know from experience that American military commanders are under extraordinary pressures to avoid civilian casualties, most of whom are "human shields", often to the detriment of the safety of our soldiers.

We saw from China's use of human wave frontal assaults during the Korean war that their commanders had very little regard for the lives of their soldiers. That's why over 400,000 Chinese soldiers died in the Korean war, compared to 36,000 American deaths (plus 8,000 MIA).

That doesn't lend credibility to the view that the Chinese military leadership gives a crap about their own soldiers, let alone innocent children.

Learn a little bit of your nation's history before you decide to "pop off" like a front row grade schooler on the first day of class.

And learn the bad, as well as the good aspects of that history so you can find your way to some semblance of truth, rather than your contrived reality.
