I think Ron Paul would go insane!

Look at an obvious, in your face problem like our giant, bloated military. Ron wants to get rid of 95% of it, keep a few nukes and a quick reaction force, all defensive stuff.

Every pol of every party would totally reject any of that, because of the defense plants, bases, peripheral industries, etc. that live off the military teat. That's THEIR district!

Not to mention that the military itself might just consider him a national security threat and sanction his ass!

I think he'd be one completely frustrated Libertarian.

I agree.

Many react that Ron Paul couldn't get accomplished what he preaches. I voted for him because he would have at least forced the discussion, which is more than we get from either party now.
