Just because True Image 2011 is buggy, it does not mean the boot CD is buggy, it could be other features you use while in Windows 7.

I only use the OEM boot CD, never ran imaging software from the OS since I started using it back in 1999. Back in 1999 I used Drive Image, then when Symantec took over I went to True Image.

Mind you back then, you could not run it from the OS, it had to be from the boot floppies.

I don't use Windows 7, I use XP Pro and True Image 2010. IMO True Image 10 is buggy, had a really bad experience with version 10, and remember, True Image 10 was out before Windows 7 was released.

The Seagate "Diskwizard" that you can download for free, that I run, is "powered by Acronis".

"Seagate® DiscWizard® version 10.0 (build 5,077)"
