Hawk, the answers to your questions lie in the link(s), if you follow them. Until the dénouement I think we'll see economic improvement, but far from sufficient. As the saying goes, "You may get better, but you'll never get well." As to hatred and blame, there'll be more than enough goin' round, inside and outside our borders. It's only when times get tough that a nation's people reveal their true character. It is still possible that trends to polarization and partisanship will dissipate under effective leadership and common goals, as in FDR's time. However leaders of his stature are few and far between. This time, I suspect we're going to see some myths displaced by unattractive truths. Jim
