Negro in Brazil will have it easier while American negro faces a bleaker future. Negro Migration into urban areas is a problem of US and Brazil. While Brazilian negro interbred, the American negro did not. The urban geography in the US naturally developed as a result of the negro urban migration to towns. Suburbs put a 'cordon sanitaire' between the negro and the suburbs. The Brazilian negro made do with the areas left for them: kept himself atop mountains surrounding towns or lived in flood prone areas. The Brazilian mulato is reaching middle class status as result of economic gains. The American negro will face poverty.
