Money, labor and resources tend to flow to where the reward is greater and more productive.....all except when controlled by the government.

If you think the thought process was "I need a yacht, let me lay off 30,000" then fine, go ahead and be deluded until the end.

Let me guess, there is no political gain from your stand point to whine about the loss of jobs in the gulf caused by your fearless leader's hapless decisions?

Personally, I'm hoping to get a billion dollar grant building green products that there may be a market for in 50 years....yeeehaaaa.....and yeah, I'll hire 3 people to help me to figure out how to keep money flowing my way sans any actual output......that would be only $333,000,000 governmental expenditure per job(plus whatever trash overhead they would add in).

Kenneth, she already had the money. Why are you lying about this? I know it is to promote Boxer, but why not try to be honest...for once.

What did the workers get when they were laid off? Did they get anything?????

And why are you equating--------the two events--------one was as noted here a management decision.

Another was a personal decision.

Granted the news media blew this up just as you are blowing this up-----------so what do you make your money off of---the wealthy, the poor.

Maybe she should have just done at HP what Franklin Raines did at Fannie Mae and cooked the books to earn a bonus, a very huge bonus. What is he doing these days?
