Hi skinowski,

Here's my theory:

VXX should go up when/if the VIX starts rising
VXX is in a constant state of decay unless and until that happens
VXX will even decline if the VIX remains constant

Idea is VXX, with its severely oversold condition, will stage a dramatic reversal once fear re-enters the market place

I took VXX long on Friday and sold at the end of the day for a small gain. Had it closed above 17.50 I would have probably kept it.

Will be looking again this coming week, would like to make it a swing trade, but need a nice sized gain intraday to be willing to hold overnight.

Pretty nice looking flat these last three months in all the major indices, complete with a lack of any participation by the SOX and silly outperformance in momentum stocks.

Of course Prechter is busy yammering about it, so it can't possibly come to pass, LOL...
