LOL! Man, do YOU ever live in fantasyland! I know a GREAT book you should read. It's an anthology of articles spanning the history of modern American corporations, that lays out their ascendancy.

It's a great read, and spells out why, if you want to know who's running things, forget politics and read the business pages.

Pay special attention to the period when corporations had company towns with company stores where you rented the house you lived in from the company you worked for, bought your groceries from them, and were beaten by their private cops if you griped about it.

The government saved us from THAT! But, that government is GONE.
