Banking Committee Legislation

I am really glad a Senator of the stature of JIM LEACH is proposing legislation as well as holding hearings. It also will put more pressure on the smaller banks to get going. The big banking problem however remains as the International financial institutions. The Y2k practise head of one the largest international big 6 accounting practises the Bank OF JApan won't even talk to American institutions concerned about Japanese readiness
