What is the wider context of Palin's Statue of Liberty quote? She relies heavily on Facebook and Twitter comments that don't come with any context, on purpose. Newt's Kenya anti-colonial nonsense was part of longer remarks he made that were linked to here. No one is distorting their points by picking out some quotes because they never walk them back in a wider context that I have ever seen. Kate, these people seriously mean this batshit nonsense. That's the scary part.
