Why does she need to be compared to anybody? I've noticed this before about you. You frame a lot of things comparatively, and it often leaves me confused as to how to answer you. At any rate, right now, based on what little I know about O'Donnell and depending only on her Wiki bio and things she's said about herself in her own words, I find her grit and courage inspiring. I'm eager to follow her through the campaign and watch the hatchet job she's going to get. Depending on how she handles herself, she could indeed become a role model. A role model for the millions of people who get off track and make mistakes when they're young and long to be able to stand up and say this was me then and this is me now and not be shredded like confetti for it. A role model for the many people who might have pursued public office but were afraid of having their foregone pasts brought up and face a public shaming.
