Au contraire.. I fully understand this double standard you're trying to press...

It's the fault of the US that Chiang's government authorized the killing of Formosans....

But it's not the fault of Bejing that Pol Pot killed MILLIONS of Cambodians.

And of course, all of those people who died during the Cultural Revolution were just unfortunate victims of circumstance, right?

And all of those women forced to have abortions to enforce the one-child policy are subversives, right?

Those in glass houses should not throw stones .. I can accept and take responsibility for the flaws and mistakes in our foreign policy, as well as the fact that we can't always control those unsavory governments which we choose to support.

The problem is that you cannot find an ounce of criticism in Bejing's policy.
