Neal, I too am heavily weighted in Oakt. And, I am not going to sell any of my shares until I see it hit at least $11 (That of course can change based on market and company conditions).

Most people have a tendency to panic and sell a stock when it is at a market low. What you have to consider as an investor is: What is the upside and the downside of a stock. IMO, the upside of Oakt in the next six months is $15. The downside, $7.

Therefore, the upside is much bigger than the downside. Also, if I believe Oakt can hit $15, that is almost doubling my investment in 6 months. Show me other stocks that have the kind of potential that Oakt does. Probably can't find many.

Obviously, I can't tell you what to do. But, look at your investment objectives, risk tolerance, and potential growth of your investments. Than, decide if you should sell or not.

andy:

i agree with your idea, similar to what has finally dawned on me. i'm going to do just that with 2,000 shares. my problem is that i didn't want to have sold it and see it take off without me. i'll write 12 1/2 calls once it gets close to a dollar premium. one question for you: why so risky in FY98? thanks for your time.
