I don't think so. There are many case across the country that hold that an agreement between parents as to custody or child support or the welfare of the child is not binding. Courts will allow the welfare of the child to be comprised regardless of the agreement of the parties.

Remember his post referred to child custody. I do not believe any State allows parents to have binding agreements regarding child support. So are you telling me that if the parties make a child support agreement between them, or that is approved by an abitrator that such an agreement would be binding on the Court? That if the court deemed the agreement not to be in the best interest of the child, it could not overturn the agreement?
