You may have a point but I don't think it will last.

Someone did an experiment once and had people wear glasses with prisms that turned everything upside down. They got so used to it that when the glasses were removed it required some days to get right-side up again.

Same thing happens when you get used to steering an outboard motor by hand. I almost drove a sternwheel steamboat into the bank of Mississippi once because it had a steering lever instead of a wheel and I kept pushing it opposite of where I wanted it to go, like you do with an outboard motor.

The undoing of the contrarian: he begins to be contrary to himself.

I disagree that many have become bearish...in my own VERY unscientific observation: radio personalities, coworkers, friends, family, AOL investment chatroom (I know what a joke but its STILL Joe Public), are ALL EXTREMELY bullish and talking of the wonderful opportunities this pullback has provided. The ONLY bears I see are those on SI. And it looks like todays early buying has stalled...
