I'm more in your camp, Ted,

Then act like it.

but there's reality, and there's perception. Sometimes perception counts MORE than reality.

No one's perception is going to be changed by whining. If that lady has to eat hot dogs and beans, then that's much better than having to go to a food bank every week or starving. So stop the complaining.....please.

The people who CAUSED the mess are gone, silent and in hiding, and we are left with the people who are supposed to FIX the mess to blame.

But they are not gone. They never left. They are still very much here. And they don't care that they created a mess. They want to regain control so they can screw things up worse. For God's sake, wake up and smell the coffee. Electing Obama was the first battle in a very long war. The Rs have controlled this country for decades. They feel entitled.......and they want that control back asap.

..and they ARE being blamed. This is the worst recession since the Great Depression. The American people want things back as they were, just as after every other recession. It's not going to happen in time to save Obama, IMO.

BS. You are too negative.......and a defeatist. I don't have time for such crap.

>> This is the worst recession since the Great Depression.

The worst recession is always the one you're in now. Remember 1992? "The worst economy since the Great Depression"? LOL. It was barely a blip.

This recession was over in Jun '09 according to the news yesterday. Which means the "stimulus" solved the problem before the first dollars were spent.

One thing has prolonged this recession: The policies of Barack Obama.

Bentway, > It's not going to happen in time to save Obama, IMO.

So you think Obama has a chance of losing in 2012?

Funny thing about the Tea Party is that they may succeed in taking control of Congress, but they may also help Obama's chances two years from now.

Just a WAG on my part.
