AJ, you misunderstood me. I was talking about disk drives, not PCs.

High-end drives used in servers have typically been well above the $1000 mark for the highest-capacity drives. IBMs *largest* drive in this new series are around $850! That is for a 16GB drive.

So, what I meant is that there is no refuge for the drive makers in the high-end of the drive market.
