So long as you are ADDING to the debt FASTER then it is being paid, so long as spending continues to rise faster then revenue does... the structural problems REMAIN.

(Which is mostly why I have focused mostly on securing higher GNP growth as the key element - along with spending restraint and revenues not being cut while spending is not - as the only viable policy mix that has ever shown success in reducing national deficits in the US in modern times.)

The 'cuts' you have identified (in and off themselves) are completely insufficient to accomplish the task.
