Yes, he is. A) it would have a beneficial short-term stimulus effect (which the economy much needs right about now) and, B) hopefully we can THEN get about a COMPREHENSIVE total revamping of the tax codes (for corporations and individuals!) something we haven't done since early in the Reagan era. Instead of PIECEMEAL micro changes in tax policy (which this obviously is) we need to get to comprehensive change. Obviously that will require BOTH PARTIES to bring about....
