Like you, I am not willing to short an indvidual stock.

I do not think, though, that the upside for the market as a whole is "infinite." Therefore I am shorting SPY, the proxy for the S&P, and also hold BEARX, which has a diversified portfolio of what they judge to be overvalued stocks. With BEARX your risk is strictly lmited to your investment, as in any mutual fund. SPY is riskier.
