Jimmy Carter Sure Thinks Highly of Himself
Even more wimp mush

By golly, Jimmy Carter sure thinks highly of himself.

"I feel that my role as a former president is probably superior to that of other presidents," Carter said during an NBC appearance Monday night to flog a new collection of his White House diaries.

In fact, Carter's chief role as an ex-prez has been to denigrate his own country, while smearing allies and cozying up to bloody-handed tyrants and terrorists at every opportunity.

And he's gotten plenty cozy -- enough to hug and kiss a Hamas leader in Gaza.

During his ceaseless travels, he's embraced terrorists wanted by the US, dictators like Syria's Bashar al-Assad and genocidists in North Korea and Sudan.

To sum up: Carter has shaken hands stained by the blood of millions. He's defended America's every enemy and given sustenance to her foes. That's his lasting legacy, in and out of office.

The next time he trips off to North Korea -- and he will -- wouldn't it be nice if they just kept him?
