I agree, and am currently breaking the law with my oldest daughter. lol! Unlike my youngest who makes her contribution all at once, my oldest makes a deposit weekly. When we moved her from funds to stocks I decided against O at that time, thinking a pullback would allow a yield closer to 6% to get started. Current cash is about $600. Maybe the market and O will cooperate by the time she can afford say 50 shares.

She got her first divvy reinvest recently with JNJ. The machine has officially started. :)

I love tracking their portfolios, keeping one with just original investment amounts and the other showing reinvestment. I get a chance to show them the power or reinvestment. Lifes little pleasures.
