Her district is being taken away by the Vietnamese. And the Chinese. And the Koreans. All she has is Santa Ana, the Hispanic stronghold of Orange County. That and the power of incumbency. Loretta Sanchez is one of the most public faces of the Hispanic caucus. They won't let her lose without fighting to the bitter end. I never met Van Tran, but I've read some reports of his public service in Orange County and he's a real smart straight shooter. Tenchusatsu

Just move along. Or at least that's what they want you to think. Democrats in Florida blatantly released the social security number of Allen West who is running for Congress as a Republican. From the Palm Beach Post: The Florida Democratic Party today said it made an "oversight" when it included Republican congressional challenger Allen West's Social Security number in an attack mailer. West, who is challenging U.S. Rep. Ron Klein, D-Boca Raton, in a nationally watched race, called the mailer "an unprecedented new low in American politics." The Democratic mailer, echoing TV ads Klein's campaign has run, blasts West for an $11,081 tax lien from 2005 that was paid off four months later. The lien notice was pulled from public records in Indiana and is reproduced in the mailer with West's wife's name removed and his address blacked out. But his Social Security number is visible in a column that says "Identifying Number." Nothing scares Democrats more than one of their house negros straying off their liberal plantation and thinking for themselves. The site here - complete with "sleeping judge" photo - attacks Young for being Big Oil's puppet. That oughta teach him to leave the Democratic plantation. It's a high tech lynching: That's the way it's done these days to black conservatives.This is simply a form of slavery. That's right - slavery. Not to a plantation owner but to the state itself. The state sets certain rules and those that don't follow those rules - who veer off the chosen path - are vilified as Uncle Toms. It doesn't matter that the chosen path leads to misery and poverty. That's the whole point. Keeping blacks down is a form of control that Democrats have become exceedingly efficient at. The same party that defended slavery, fought for it, segregated schools, filibustered the Civil Rights Act of 1964, came out later with welfare, good intentions on full display, which has broken the black family and replaced the father with the government. Since that time, the poverty level has not changed a single bit. Then the victim mentality was installed by Democrats. Affirmative action separated people by their race. Us against them. Black versus white. Male versus female. Gay versus straight. The party of identity politics divides people and judges them by the color of their skin, not by the content of their character. Democrats have kept blacks down in the plantations of failed urban environments with failed public schools, doomed to continue voting for Democrats to get handouts that they have been convinced they are entitled to.
