Did anyone on this thread read the morning papers? I've been away and am just now reading today's paper. The headline says "Congress OK's Reforms To Hasten FDA Approvals". Part of the report says "The U.S. House and Senate passed legislation Sunday that would streamline Food and Drug Administration procedures and make it easier for drug, medical device and food companies to enlarge markets for their products.

Passage in both chambers within hours of each other sends the measure to President (I can't say his name), who already has said he will sign it."

Although we had been told of this a few weeks ago, actually getting a vote of passage and getting it signed will be terrific for companies like Sunrise!

Maybe the prediction of 18 to 24 months for FDA approval, after Phase II completion, is realistic. I'm pleased!

PS nysebob2, I couldn't agree more with your statement about returning to the planet from whence we came!!! God help us!! I hope SNRS charges the max to remove tattoos to allow those needing improved vision to get the best financial deal possible. I mean, poor vision is not by choice!!!
