GZ, when you say in the header that you are "using the front month of the SP futures contract"... I have two questions:

1) for those who do not know about/cannot trade futures, what symbol does one watch to see the contract value?

and

2) is SPY something that one could watch/paper trade to get a feel for the things you are making reference to?
