Yes, I know how to look up things on the Internet. What I wonder is why it is on my machine and why I need it? Here is what MS says about it: Silverlight is a powerful development platform for creating engaging, interactive user experiences for Web, desktop, and mobile applications when online or offline. I don't do much development. I used to. Years ago I did a lot of programming. Now, I am just a user. What do I want with Silverlight? What am I missing here?
