For 2009, I see 11.69 million bbls day imports, and 5.36 US production. That's about 65% imports.

Of that 11.69 million, there is 2.47 from Canada and 1.21 from Mexico.

Counting those countries as domestic means 8.01 imports and 9.04 production.
