Why didn't The Republicans enact the good parts when they had control of the Congress and White House for 4 years? We know its because they really didn't want them.


Someday you should read the US Constitution. The US Constitution gives the federal government defined powers. Nowhere in the US Constitution is there anything about the Federal Government having the power to provide healthcare. The reason conservatives don't want it, is because it is not part of the purview of the Federal government.

Here's the thing, on the surface having to never worry about healthcare sounds like a great thing. It's the fact that it is something that is impossible to guarantee and what the government has to do to make the impossible promise violates the rights of the citizens of this country.

They didn't enact them hopefully because they believe in the free market and the US Constitution.
