I like www.finviz.com because it's free and the charts are real time and big. You can't interactively draw trendlines or run indicators, but you can at least see what really happened during the night.

But the question is why did Gold suddenly bust higher at 3:30 a.m.? Is it related to other countries like Japan intervening in their currencyh markets in an unsuccessful attempt to devalue their currencies vs. the dollar to boost exports for their flagging economies?
