"My timing, for once in a life time, was impeccable."

This week I did a Bull Put Spread (14/13) on HK - my timing also looks good. Today I did a BPS on UNG (6/5) - we shall see.

So I call around to find out why DO has such a high short interest and the basic answer I get is that the stock may cut its special dividend further. Well, in July it cut it from 1.75 to .75. It moves .75 in the first half hour of trading in any given day. Why would that be an issue, I ask myself? So I buy some and leaps too. Well, today it seems the herd is stepping away from that short as it and RIG are moving nicely on realization that deepwater is not dead. RIG and DO have 2011 FCF yields of 20% and 11%, respectively, the highest out of some 30 or so in a recent CS report. The month seems to be ending nicely for me, a first in many, and to boot, CRM is down now 12 points from its recent high. So many more points to go though IMO. Disclosure: EOG, DO, NOK, and VLO represent my largest long positions, in that order. CRM, FFIV, BIDU, and CBG my largest shorts, also in that order.
