It is one of the most controversial current disagreement in economics, not something that has any accepted standard answer.

The controversy is dominated by politics...I don't think there is a technical controversy.

Of the ones with any credibility, the values aren't that far different. Granted, you and your cohorts seem to be of the opinion that the spending is negative. But y'all are on the fringe.
