Tom - you are nuts on re the need for liquidity in options.

I think the obvious - timing is everything. When I try to force a trade it usually does not work well. I think buying nat gas related issues in the depth of the shoulder season makes sense as compared to buying in say mid January.

I have some Jan expiration short puts on UNG at much higher prices. Perhaps if we here in Cleveland freeze out butts off I will get some of my money back on those.
