No my ideology is that taxes should be low, and that a loss of freedom, putting more of our economic decisions under the government's control is wrong. But higher taxes reducing freedom, and (all else being equal) harming the economy, is fact. Eliminating all taxes would return us to living off the land as hunters and gatherers. Probably not, although I agree it would be very negative. Its also totally irrelevant since no one here is calling for eliminating all taxes.
