Trying pot is one thing. But an adult who can't function without getting high has problems and no sensible employer wants to deal with those problems. In addition, many employers need to drug test in order to keep insurance premiums under control.

Finalyy, it is one thing for employees to get high at mcdonalds and something else wher people have to be able to think to do their jobs.

Nobody could do the work I do while fucked up and I guarantee you the same is true of many others here. At least nobody could do it adequately.

I mean, something like half of Americans have tried pot. It really isn't a big deal.

It's not like an unforgivable sin - a 'user' is implied to mean an active 'user' - not I tried it once in HS. So if you had a company - would you hire stoners to work for you and risk your fortune?

Watch CA. Thanks to the Teamsters, unionized pot plantation workers will be getting $25 an hour! Once they legalize it with this latest initiative, CA will BOOM again!

Will the Border Patrol have to cover the CA border, to prevent smugglers? Stay tuned!
