Okay, thanks...I think I understand what you are saying. You like the fact that Bob Brinker has basically been a "buy and hold" advocate since March 2003.

He has made a lot of "new money" buy signals in that time frame, but his own portfolios, and consequently, those who follow his portfolios, have been fully invested since March 2003.

That was some wild roller-coaster ride he took. He rode the S&P from 811 to a high at 1527 in October 2007, then all the way back down again to 676 in March 2009.

Some of those roller-coaster ride losses have been recovered, but not all.

I find it comical that he continues to call himself a market-timer, especially in light of the fact that he made 4 new money buy signals in 2008 that were total blunders so each one was lower than the last.

Of course, I'm sure my humor is lost on those who sunk all of their money in the market at his January 2008 buy-level of mid-1400's and lost almost 60% of it.
