I hear you but how do you think the neighbors feel about the free riders when they are honoring their financial committments? Looks like the system will continue to penalize savers until this mess is cleared out as the banks get stronger and stronger in coming years. Also the banksters probably like to have someone in the house, maintaining it, with utilities on and the grass being cut. In Florida an abandoned house can develop so many issues from water intrusion and mold that could result in a tear down after about three long hot humid 7-8 eight months of summer and some minor hurricane damage that doesn't get remedied quickly..
