patio, if you value it, keep it close. allowing a bank to lend it out ain't defined as "close."

if the deflation i see hits, banks will be wiped out and the FDIC will fail to pay out its obligations, just like ss and mc and hc.

relying on fdic, imho, is a fool's game.
