would it be fair to say that team usa is about to do a runner on afghanistan?

Would it be fair to say that "Team China" is about to make a move on the entire S. China sea?

Just because Portugese sailors gave it that name doesn't mean other countries accept that it's Chinese territory:

And certainly having Chinese fishing trawlers bumping into Japanese Coast Guard vessels, let alone fishing in Japanese territory to begin with, is not worth Bejing escalating this incident. The Senkaku islands clearly belong to Japan, and were administered by the US as an occupying power before we returned control of them to Japan (along with Okinawa) in 1972.

But now that there's the perception that large oil and gas reserves lie in the vicinity of those islands, Bejing is going to try and muscle their way in as they are with the Spratly's.

Your government needs to back off and de-escalate this situation or it's going to create serious tensions in the region.

After all, China doesn't fight "wars for oil" does it?

Oh, and btw.. Before the US ousted the Taliban, China was one of the Taliban's biggest benefactors:

During the years when the Taliban was in power in Afghanistan, China was among its biggest benefactors, together with Pakistan, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia.

Seems to me that Bejing is responsible for it's portion of the instability in Afghanistan and has an obligation to clean up the mess.

And you'd better hope that the Obama administration doesn't "cut and run" in Afghanistan. Because you're going to see that Jihadist movement makes it's way in Xijiang province..

You see... they perceive you as godless "Kaffir" just as they do the west. To the Taliban, and Jihadist believers, we're all worthy of only one fate.. death.
