If I was short I would just cover. I wouldn't hedge.

In fact I think most have covered...

P.S. Did we all short COMS on the rally above 39 this a.m? I hope so.

BTW I'd recommend that strategy as well! ;-)

As to your question about volume, generally no: price rises on low volume, particularly on a low volume day (such as today in the market), are suspect.

But I have to say that I can show you several stocks which have risen to substantial heights on low volume before breaking out.

So...price rises on low volume require vigilence.

I'm happy to see that things may have turned for you ANCR holders. My analysis is that this is mainly short covering, especially so if your insider buying analysis is accurate...I'm still watching...sure hope I don't watch all the way up, just as I watched the way down!
