Agree---Toyota was libeled. I was a passenger recently in a hybrid built by Toyota. What a gem---------the car runs on gas and electic. As I understand, there is no need to plug the car into an electric outlet to recharge it----the car alternates between using gas and the power from the battery which is generated as the car is in the gas mode and building stored electricity. The car can switch from one mode to the other gas to electric and then electric back to gas. The mileage for the gas is------about 90 miles per gallon. I was impressed----------believe Ford also has a similar model and of course Ford.
