yes, but bob's brilliance is that this is a time very much like the 70's. under these circumstances, human behavior responds in a similar manner. as we came out of a very difficult investment environment, the market went up. these are very similar circumstances, my bet is that the market will go up just as it did in the 70's! in fact, he did not believe his own system. the housing debacle caused this recession, but that was not part of his model and so he missed the downturn. yet, he was correct in his analysis of history. hmmmm
