No it isn't. Its taxed as well.

That wasn't his point!?

Not his larger point, but in that specific statement, he said it was "on the house". It isn't.

A number which higher taxes would tend to make worse.

No one is talking about increasing taxes on the poor

All else being equal, increasing taxes on the rich makes things worse for the poor (except when taxes are so low that the government can't provide public services, and can't provide a minimal safety net for those who are incapable of supporting themselves, but we are a long way above that point).

As for bankrupting the country, its all the extra spending that's doing that. Even if you ignore the deadweight loss of taxes, and don't consider the decrease in avoidance and evasion efforts with lower rates, and assume that if you cut the rate by x percent, you actually get x percent less income, the spending increases still dwarfed the lost income from the tax cut.

DEM STRATEGIST THREATENS CRITIC OF ISLAM

“You’re a woman, you better be careful about saying who I carry water for.”

Major fireworks on the Fox Business channel last night as Big Peace contributor Pamela Gellar was the target of intolerant and insulting remarks from Democratic strategist Bob Beckel.

Funny how Mr. Beckel didn't attack black conservative David Webb who was also aggressively disagreeing with him on the same panel. Wonder why?
