We'll soon see on that -- and you can take that to the bank.

Claude; They are all of the A......P school of investing, when they are unfairly critical of any one writer. Time and again this has been proven. A consensus is very important in decisions like this, or at least an understanding of why they differ.

Re: Wish I Had Traded IPMCF as Well as Claude...

Let me exercise my rights for a moment. It bears repeating that CC's trading tactics on IPMCF provided much better performance than a buy-and-hold strategy.

I find the black-and-white hat approach to posters here reprehensible. There is no way a reasonable person can compare CC's approach to Charters. NO WAY!

I am most impressed by CC's ability to let the worst of the bile spewed at him roll off his back.

Has he been wrong? Will he be wrong? Yes, as will I or any of you. Do I agree with him on IPMCF? I disagree with him on the impact of investor psychology and hysteria in the event that a major find is confirmed. I agree that there will be plenty of upside left in the aftermath of a positive announcement.

p.s. Memo to all (including some dear friends) regarding terroristic threats: unless you are willing to heap contempt on those who write "we know where you live and have people driving by" posts, drop the carry-permit nonsense. The asymmetry is beginning to smell.

p.s. Am as long IPMCF today as I was in April.

CC,

Lord knows that we have debated a few points on this thread and I am under the firm belief that you have been unfairly skeptical of IPM but I just wanted to make one thing clear and that is that I have enjoyed debating the skepticism with you as I believe it has helped raise the level of awareness for those reading this thread.

This is the level of skeptical debates that the thread needs. Not the likes of Charters. You have given us the opportunity to debate you and that is much appreciated. I hope that you will continue to allow us to continue as it is quite thought provoking IMHO.

Chuck
